With the world famous Gretna Green less than five miles from our hotel, March Bank makes the ideal choice for smaller wedding parties.

Unlike many other hotels in the area, at March Bank you can enjoy exclusive use of our premises. After all, it’s supposed to be your big day, and the last thing you want is to share it with a group of strangers, or worse still, another wedding party.

We can cater for up to 45 people, and with local game and smoked salmon being our specialities, your party is ensured of a delicious, memorable meal. Of course, if any of your guests have special dietary requirements, just let us know and we’ll tailor a dish specifically for them.

As Bride and Groom, you’ll find our Netherby room with its four poster bed offers a romantic retreat at the end of your unforgettable day.

Should your guests also want to make a night of it, they can. March Bank sleeps up to 17 people and with a choice of comfortable rooms on offer, they’ll be spoiled for choice. What’s more, as our accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis, your party can start the day in the best way possible – with a full English breakfast.

If you’re planning a bigger wedding, we also provide Marquee hire. Please let us know at least six months prior to your wedding so we can make all of the arrangements and give you an idea of costs.
